President Obama receives tens of thousands of letters every day. A small number of them make it to his desk as a sample of what Americans are thinking. Luceo Images uses letters of hope as a platform to highlight stories about poverty, immigration, gay rights, and healthcare.
It’s a great concept, with powerful photos shot by “concerned photographers.” The project feels very honest; a humble message to our President, a reminder of the struggle too many Americans face day-to-day. Wish they had used better music, though. Cue The Beatles, “Don’t let me down…don’t let me down.”
